Julian Garland, singer: “I mean the guys sound like they’ve just started – fresh – really really good, I am enjoying myself , I am learning a lot, I am still learning and we’re all having a good time here tonight.”

During the Saturday night event, Joe Zahm a founding member and writer of many of the hit songs of Everyman was honored for believing in TCI musical talent when no one else would. Crayton Ewing, recording artist made the surprise presentation. “It was difficult because nobody had confidence in us as locals as musicians, so it was a barrier and we had to go out there and fight to play in those hotels – politically, from all angles. Joe heard us playing and Joe decided he was going to give us an opportunity for us to be able to maximize our full potential here in the Turks and Caicos Islands, even abroad – that’s how Everyman came about.”

Everyman gives to Clement Howell High ahead of Reunion show https://magneticmediatv.com/2015/03/everyman-gives-to-clement-howell-high-ahead-of-reunion-show/ Thu, 26 Mar 2015 12:23:51 +0000 https://magneticmediatv.com/?p=5878 Providenciales, 26 Mar 2015 – The music program of Clement Howell High was invited to bring a list of needs to the members of legendary TCI music group, Everyman, as Joe Zahm promised a donation to the program. The school was gathered for a special assembly where they heard the story of how Beautiful by Nature was chosen as the country’s tourism slogan.

“The three finalists were: ‘Turks and Caicos Discover the Undiscovered’; ‘Turks and Caicos the Forgotten Islands’, and ‘Turks and Caicos Beautiful by Nature’ but we liked all three of them, but we felt the forgotten islands wasn’t accurate, because we wanted to discovered and found and obviously we have been; and so that is how ‘Beautiful by Nature’ came to be, and Leo and I wrote the song, it’s a fully homegrown product.”

The performance by the group was a hit and Zahm reminded that the school will open the Saturday night reunion concert, which is set at Blue Haven Resort this weekend.

“In addition to Everyman, my band JZB and the Jay Davidson Horn section which will play with both bands, we have V6 from Grand Turk playing on Saturday in addition to the (CHHS) choir, and we’re going to have a special performance by Mr. Quinten (right here) and Crayton Ewing, who is coming in; Cray, as many knows is one of the top performers of the Turks and Caicos Islands as well as a surprise performance.”

Lead singer and songwriter Leo Jones, and bandleader songwriter Hudson (Big H) Grant join fellow founding member Max Claire, Quinton Dean, Brentford Handfeld, Janardo and Javan Laporte , Keno Hall and Joanne Bassett as EVERYMAN headlines two shows on the beach in front of SALT, at Blue Haven Resort in Leeward. States Joe Zahm: “I am beyond excited a long time dream will be fulfilled. When we were forced to part ways some twenty years ago we were all so disappointed, as had given the project our all. Hartling Group Appoints Turks & Caicos Sotheby’s International Realty as Official Broker https://magneticmediatv.com/2014/11/hartling-group-appoints-turks-caicos-sothebys-international-realty-as-official-broker/ Thu, 13 Nov 2014 20:27:29 +0000 https://magneticmediatv.com/?p=3321 Providenciales, 13 Nov 2014 (Shore Club News Release) – For the second time in 15 years, two of the most successful names in Turks and Caicos real estate development have formed an alliance.

The Hartling Group has named Turks & Caicos Sotheby’s International Realty (TCSIR) as the official broker for the Shore Club. The third luxury beachfront resort development for the Hartling Group, the $100 million Shore Club is now under construction on Long Bay beach.

Hartling Group CEO Stan Hartling, and Turks & Caicos Sotheby’s President Joe Zahm, first worked together in 1999, when Zahm provided consulting services on the design of phases two and three of Hartling’s first resort project on Providenciales – The Sands on Grace Bay.

The Sands became one of the first and most successful condo-resorts on Providenciales, and Zahm’s real estate agency (first established as Connolly Zahm Properties) became a powerhouse new development specialist before it morphed into its present form as TCSIR.

From that first occasion when Hartling and Zahm combined their collective expertise has come many years of professional respect and personal friendship between the two business leaders. “I’m really looking forward to working with Joe and his team again,” states Hartling. “We feel that combining our in – house abilities with Turks & Caicos Sotheby’s International Realty’s local, regional and international power, puts the Shore Club, and other Hartling Group developments in the optimal position to grow on our success. Joe, Nina Siegenthaler and their team have deep knowledge of the resort real estate model and luxury market, and have many tools at their disposal to penetrate the international market through the Sotheby’s International Realty Brand”.

Adds Zahm: “The timing is ideal for our team to represent the Shore Club to our international audience. Long Bay is now home to some of the finest completed and under-development estates in the Caribbean, with strong market demand and rapidly improving values. Just as Stan’s existing developments significantly exceeded expectations, so too will the Shore Club, with its highly evolved, lower density master plan, multiple swimming pools and restaurants, great condominium suites and incredible single family villas. Construction is progressing quickly and with over 60% of the condominiums sold, we look forward to introducing buyers to this exceptional opportunity to purchase a luxury condominium or villa within an expertly designed development in a private, exclusive setting”.

Beachfront condos at the Shore Club start from $1.4 million, and the six bedroom villas start from $5.5 million. The condos will be ready for occupancy in early 2016.
