Police confirm restaurant Robbery

#TurksandCaicos, May 23, 2023 – Police have confirmed Saturday’s robbery as reported by Magnetic Media on
The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force say on May 20th they got calls at around 9:44 p.m. reporting that a robbery had taken place at a Restaurant in Downtown, Providenciales.
Three armed and masked men marched in police say and announced it was a ‘hold-up’. They thoroughly robbed the victims and then drove away in a getaway car; but not before pistol whipping two employees.
The workers had to be rushed to the Cheshire Hall Medical Center where they were treated and thankfully released. Police say Investigations are continuing by the Serious Crime Team.
No suspects were reported in custody.
