TRANSFORMATION COMING FOR TCI BUSINESS COMMUNITY
PROVIDENCIALES, AUGUST 25, 2013 – Minister of Finance, Hon. Washington Misick recently announced a major programme of reform that will alter the business environment of the TCI.

The goal of the new programme is to make the Turks and Caicos Islands the best place to do business in the Caribbean. It underscores key elements such as:
1. overcoming constraints to small business development.
2. A regulatory reform, covering business licenses and work permits and
3. Improving the skills and employment opportunities of Turks and Caicos Islanders, through vocational training, apprenticeships, internships and professional development programmes.
Hon. Misick believes the success of this reform lies in an ongoing partnership between the public and private sector.
