Middle Caicos Students get GOLD and Beach Party

Ozzie Delancy, the District Commissioner on the island of Middle Caicos on Friday said the performance of the islands’ children was so good, it was decided they had earned a day of fun to celebrate. That day of fun was held on Bambara Beach this Saturday from 11am to 5pm; with treats, island food, face painting, bouncing castle and other games to really show the appreciation.
Doris Robinson Primary, with just 15 students and the smallest team of seven athletes earned a gold in the boys 800M thanks to Makai Forbes, a 12-year old stand out athlete who had other notable performances at the championships held in Providenciales March 29-31, at the National Stadium, Venetian Road.
